Business Establishment and Family Transmission
Select-Dental SA was founded by Pierre Squaratti in 1988. This family business quickly established itself as a major player in the dental equipment sector in French-speaking Switzerland. Gérald Squaratti, then technical director, and his wife Nadia Squaratti, administrative manager, subsequently took over the reins of the business. Under their leadership, the company has experienced steady growth over the past three decades.
In 2018, Gérald and Nadia Squaratti decided to sell Select-Dental SA to Charles-Henri and Benoîte Potel. Thanks to their careful preservation of the skills and expertise that shaped this family business, Charles-Henri and Benoîte have been able to ensure continuity in the excellence of the range of products and services offered by Select-Dental SA.
Transition and Modernisation
Charles-Henri Potel and his wife Benoîte Potel, both graduates of prestigious universities with extensive experience in industry, took on the challenge of succeeding the Squaratti family. Benoîte managed the administrative and sales divisions, while Charles-Henri oversaw production and development.
Upon their arrival, they began modernising Select-Dental SA, introducing new models and designs. The company also gained a specialist in electronics and electrical engineering who helped to facilitate the development of new equipment.

Always attentive to the needs of practitioners, Charles-Henri Potel constantly integrates innovative solutions to improve Select Dental's equipment. In 2023, a new chair with all-new electronics, plus a new design with integrated programs and an LCD touchscreen, was launched on the market thanks to a collaboration with our excellent partners: Bien-Air Dental SA and Elix Systems SA.

Each of our employees plays an essential role in the smooth running of the company, from the design right through to the commissioning of our products.
Benoîte Potel
Sales and Administrative Director
Benoîte expertly leads our sales and administrative department. Her role encompasses developing business relationships with our distributors, managing new equipment sales, and overseeing quotes, invoicing, shipping, and logistics. She is also responsible for the company's general accounting.
Charles-Henri Potel
Technical and Quality Director
Charles-Henri, head of the technical and quality department, is the driving force behind the technological development of our products. Responsible for engineering and electronics, he also oversees the final inspection of new dental chairs before they leave the factory, ensuring each product meets the highest standards. He can respond to highly detailed requests for custom dental units.
Léthicia Arabi
Assistant Manager After-Sales Service and HR
Léthicia is the main point of contact for our after-sales service, order management and invoicing, as well as shipping and logistics. In addition to her customer service role, she is also responsible for human resources.
Julien Addis
Mechanical and Metalwork Manager
Julien is our mechanical specialist; he checks the quality of the parts during production. Julien has been responsible for all welding on Select-Dental SA dental chairs since 2013.
Stéphane Gabignon
Assembly Workshop Manager
Stéphane is our workshop project manager and has been responsible for the assembly of new dental equipment at Select-Dental SA since 2009. He also helps deliver our after-sales service which supports customers throughout the life of a chair.
Our Select-Dental SA team is distinguished by its outstanding commitment to providing superior quality products and services, with the primary aim of total customer satisfaction.
